Friends of Mercer Cemetery at Trenton

Honoring the past. Beautifying the present.

Mission of Friends of Mercer Cemetery at Trenton

The mission of the Friends of the Mercer Cemetery at Trenton is to recognize and honor those buried there, to design and execute a landscape restoration plan, and to beautify and maintain the landscape in a manner that honors those buried there while offering an attractive urban park for those who travel to Trenton, work in its nearby buildings, and for those looking for a quiet, restful oasis in a busy urban setting.

We seek to secure the funds to support preservation and improvements at the cemetery and to continue historic research and report on its findings.

We aim to hire the necessary staff and engage qualified contractors and consultants to continue the preservation and work in the cemetery as a cultural, environmental, and historic center.
